CILT, the National Centre for Languages is an educational Charity, dedicated to the promotion and support of language learning in the UK, and has an established reputation for publishing high quality support materials for language teachers. 

CILT is recruiting a Publishing Manager to oversee its current catalogue and work with senior colleagues to develop its product list in response to a rapidly-changing context for language learning, and to deliver increased sales.  

As the successful candidate you will bring fresh thinking and a dynamic approach, especially to marketing and sales, as well as solid experience from the field of commercial educational publishing and an understanding of educational and teaching issues.

This is a challenging post, and it calls upon a wide range of skills to both manage the current list of publications, and develop future projects.  It requires the ability to work with a diverse range of authors, good editorial skills, a grasp of the legal aspects of publishing, and marketing and budgetary skills. 

You will join a lively and enthusiastic team responsible for communications and marketing at CILT.
