Rheumatology, the official journal of the British Society for Rheumatology and one of the world’s leading journals covering scientific and clinical developments in the management and treatment of rheumatic diseases, is currently recruiting a Managing Editor to work at the BSR’s headquarters in central London.

The Managing Editor will help maintain the journals high reputation and the challenge of meeting the needs of both the clinical and scientific communities within the rheumatology field. 

The successful applicant is likely to have a qualification, experience or a professional interest in science or medicine. They will have experience of working in SMT publishing, with a good understanding of the current issues facing the journal publishing industry. They will have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to work with editors, authors and reviewers.
