Are you looking for a fantastic new role in children’s production? A leading trade publisher in London is currently seeking a Children’s Production Manager to join their divisional team and work with an impressive list of world-class authors, illustrators and brands and licenses for the global market.

You will be responsible for managing resources, processes and systems within the team; attending concept meetings to advise on creative and practical repro and book specifications; maintaining and developing relationships with key suppliers; effectively managing your team; identifying and developing new suppliers; researching technical developments; ensuring the maintenance of the PM system; managing the archiving process; and ensuring the level of service to rights by production meets the requirements of the business.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in book production with a good understanding of children’s publishing and production. You will have expert knowledge of technical processes involved in the manufacturing of books, will be able to think creatively to produce new product formats, and will have experience in,  and a good understanding of, co-edition production. You will have great people management, communication and organisational skills, a high level of efficiency, good budgetary and time consideration ability and must be a flexible and solutions-focused individual.
