This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly team in Oxfordshire. As Production Manager you will head up a small team and provide outsource book production services to a select portfolio of small publishers and packagers.

Key responsibilities include maintaining exceptional quality standards for all exisiting and new customers, planning and manging workloads within the team, motivating staff and effective problem solving. This person will have sound business sense, have a clear understanding of company strategy, an awareness of different markets and will be able to communicate, delegate and negotiate effectively.

Our client is seeking someone with previous people management experience and sound understanding and experience of the book production process including knowledge of working with co-editions, the ability to colour correct and press pass accurately, knowledge of origination, proofing and CTP and of potential safety issues for all manufactured product.
