HEAD OF SALES

Canongate Books, one of the UK's leading independent publishers, is seeking a creative, driven and experienced individual to oversee its fast-growing UK and Export sales operations.  Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, you will be involved in setting and achieving sales targets in all territories, the key account management of our major customers, managing and motivating sales teams in the UK and overseas and bringing your broad understanding of the marketplace into our publishing process. 

The successful candidate will be a dynamic presenter, an efficient key account manager with a proven track record and possess the necessary skills to both organise and influence others.  This is a key role within the company and involves regular travel both in the UK and abroad and is based in our Edinburgh offices.
