Production Assistant

Headline Publishing, part of Hachette Livre UK, the UK's leading book publisher, is looking for a Production Assistant to join their Production team.
Key responsibilities for this role are producing the company’s busy reprint programme and giving general assistance to the department. This includes preparing and managing production costs, placing print orders and quality control. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, as well as a good eye for detail. Some experience of book production and/or a qualification in a production publishing course would be an advantage. You will be working on our diverse list of commercial books, from women's fiction and literary fiction, to leading sports biographies and popular culture.  In return, we offer a genuinely rewarding and stimulating environment.
