The job:  A leading children\'s books publisher is looking for a Publishing Director to head its newly acquired illustrated children\'s non-fiction imprint.  For this growth-oriented and market-focused business they are seeking an innovative publisher to create imaginative product for a developing international customer base.  The Publishing Director will lead and inspire a talented editorial team, work across key publishing functions to create and launch an exciting and effective publishing programme, and be responsible for the financial performance of the imprint.   The role reports to the divisional Managing Director and has a place on the executive team.

The person: A champion for the imprint, and particularly with our international customer network, the successful candidate will be energetic and ambitious; strategically and financially savvy, creative in the extreme and full of publishing intelligence. The candidate must have experience in illustrated non-fiction and show a passion for children\'s books.
