A successful and fast-growing publisher of children\'s titles, based in Bath, has a first class opportunity to join their licensed team as Publishing Director, Licensing.

Reporting to the Children’s Publishing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the profitable delivery and year on year growth expected from the licensed publishing business unit. You will have financial responsibility for the list; management responsibility for the Group Editors, their editorial teams, a designer and assistant; be involved in ensuring that appropriate and timely sales material is produced for the sales team as well as strong links with your other publishing, sales and marketing colleagues.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable children’s publishing experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, strong commercial instincts and a real passion for children’s books. Experience within licensed and character publishing is desirable however, team management experience is essential.
