Working for this international publishing house in a role designing and preparing page layouts for a range of monthly, quarterly and biannual sales tools and supplements.  Knowledge and ex[experience of working with 1/2 and 4 colour printing is essential.  Overseeing the quality of copyeditoring, proofreading, typesetting of tools; preparing material for text and cover printers;  liasing with commissioning editors, marketing and production departments in order to assess the accuracy of information; controlling schedules, budgets and quality of the end product; and database management.  The successful candidate will have production and typesetting experience.  DTP experience using Quark Xpress an In Design is essential as is the ability to work on a Mac.  The ability to work effectively under pressure and an aptitude and enthusiasm for working with new technology is essential.  An eye for detail and careful planning are also fundamental
