Our client is a small b2b publishing agency based in Soho, that creates customer magazines fro a range of leading professional services firms.

Responsibilities:

·         Main responsibility is the design and layout of our magazines, from concept development and picture research, through layout and revisions, to print.

·         To work on pitches for new magazines and redesigns.

·         Establish, develop and implement highly-creative and consistent templates and style sheets for all magazines.

·         Ensure creative, progressive and consistent visual identity for all magazines.

·         Picture editing and photo manipulation.

·         Commissioning illustrators and photographers; directing photo shoots; knowledge of photo research and licensing.

·         Manage all aspects of production, including preparing files for print, supplying artwork, liaising with printers, checking PDFs and proofs etc.

·         Manage other freelance designers.

Essential Skills:

·         Experienced magazine designer.

·         Creative, proactive, organised, an eye for detail and client-friendly.

·         Advanced QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign skills.
