A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Designer to join a hard-working, small, dynamic creative team, based within one of the world’s leading scientific publishers in London.

The key tasks will include producing high quality proposals to tight schedules; producing high quality artwork for sponsorship and promotional material for our client’s portfolio of titles, including brochures adverts, exhibition material, web promotion and corporate work for the group such as stationery and signage; and liaising with marketing, publishing, sponsorship, print buying and production departments to ensure each project runs smoothly from start to finish.

The right candidate will have a flair for graphic design, a keen eye for detail whilst being well organised, able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines. Applicants will need to have common sense, good communication skills, the ability to use their initiative, work independently and as part of a creative team. A professional qualification in graphic design (Degree or equivalent) and experience of working in a Marketing/Design environment is required as well as a thorough understanding of CS3 package, all Mac design software, including Microsoft office package. A good general education, with some science education is preferred.
