Our client is one of the world’s largest, most comprehensive and most diverse content repositories and also the world’s largest document supplier.
A requirement has arisen for a commercially and strategically astute manager to proactively manage the five largest UK accounts in the Higher education sector. You will be fully responsible for maintaining and growing revenues from these accounts, working to an 18-months sales and strategic marketing plan which you create jointly with your marketing colleagues.
You will have strong entrepreneurial skills and a proven track record of a minimum of 2 years of sales or business development experience in the academic sector. Strong communication and negotiation skills are expected, as is an ability to work under pressure and to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.
This is a challenging but exciting opportunity to work with one of the most renowned and recognised brands in the library and document supply market and to help lead the development of its service offering to the key instutions in higher educations in the UK.
