Our client is a large and very well respected professional publishing house in west London. They are looking for an Interim Production Manager to cover a 6 month period of maternity leave.

You will have extensive relevant experience of production management within a professional publishing environment and will have a first class working knowledge of database management, data products, XML and online product development; demonstrable team building and mentoring skills; extensive experience of typesetting and printing processes including litho printing and POD.

You will also have comprehensive project management experience including quality control, schedule and budget management, and you should have solid experience of establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with external suppliers – you will need strong interpersonal skills and well-developed communication skills. You must be confident in your ability to monitor and manage all production spend within budget including maintaining appropriate cost savings and producing monthly reports for the Operations Director.
