NBN is looking for an experienced Customer Services Manager to lead our Customer Services and Order Processing team. This is the key appointment to our management group and we are looking for an individual who combines an excellent customer-facing manner with proven team leadership and staff development skills. The successful candidate will also have the aptitude to contribute fully to the management group as we continue to grow and adapt the company in response to the challenges of a rapidly changing book supply chain.
To apply you must have experience of working within sales and/or distribution enviroments; possess excellent IT slills; be unflappable under pressure and be able to engage with fine detail. We act as the out-sourced customer services department for a wide range of non-fiction, reference and academic & scholarly publishers, and in this busy department speed, accuracy and analytical problem solving abilities are all essential attributes. The job is based at our Plymouth distribution centre, but will also require some travel within the UK and possibly to the Frankfurt Book Fair.
