Large and very successful media company seek an experienced professional Rights Manager to look after content for an innovative programme.

 

The lucky individual will be responsible for identifying, prioritising, negotiating, and managing relationships with publishers for the company\'s Digital initiatives in the UK.

 

Key responsibilities include, developing long-term relationships with senior executives at partner companies, primarily publishing. Building detailed account plans and forecasts; monitoring new and renewal contract processes.

 

The right candidate must be able to work in a highly-demanding, but collegial environment where teamwork is a must, and also be able to create a vision that can scale with growing volume. You will need to be flexible, action and results oriented and self-starting. You must also be decisive and able to move with speed to implement ideas.

 

Strong negotiation skills are required, ideally in negotiations of books rights.
