Leading Magazine publisher seeks an enthusiastic and motivated Communications Assistant to provide high level administrative support and assistance to the Head of Group Communications and the wider Communications team.
Responsibilities of this exciting role include, managing and updating the Plc website, maintaining the contacts database, invoice administration and collation and distribution of official communications documents. You will also have the opportunity to take on specific projects and provide support with events such as the Annual General Meeting. This would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop or return to a career in Communications.You will have proven experience of providing high level administrative support, excellent organisational skills, resilience and the ability to work well under pressure. Your strong communication skills, flexibility and professionalism will help you build excellent working relationships and make a really positive contribution to the department. Strong IT skills and a good working knowledge of all MS Office packages is essential as is a pragmatic common-sense approach to issues that arise and the ability to exercise discretion and sensitivity at all times.This is a temporary nine month maternity cover, and would cover a part-time week of 21 hours.
