A well established confidential and commercial printing company, based in Hertford, is looking to appoint a New Business Manager.

As part of the senior management team you will have overall responsibility for the sales and marketing functions of the business. You will work closely with the Managing Director to review, shape and implement the future sales, business development and marketing strategy of the company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record in sales and marketing within the print or print management sectors and will have solid experience in managing and motivating a sales team.

Responsibilities will include: Reviewing current markets and associated sales and marketing strategy, including technology used in the sales and client retention process; implementing the agreed sales and marketing plan for the Company to successfully win and retain customers by utilising the strengths of the business and creating sustainable growth and profit; researching, identifying and targeting existing as well as new products, market sectors and customers in line with agreed business strategy and plans.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable record of success in sales and marketing; have strong team leading and mentoring skills; Good knowledge of the printing/manufacturing process and awareness of the financial and commercial aspects of client management.
