Our client is a large and well respected professional publishing house based in West London . They publish leading-edge reports, business-related books, guides, CD-ROMs and electronic products in diverse subject areas ranging from accounting to zoom lenses. Their products represent UK economic and social interests at home and abroad, and they work closely with manufacturing and service industries, businesses, governments and consumers. They are seeking to appoint an experienced senior Manager to join their friendly team as a Sector Content Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Market Development, you will assess and develop business within a specific professional sector in order to create new products and services. You will do this by establishing and maintaining external relationships within the sector to ensure that you have an in-depth knowledge of events, trends and hot topics. You will use this knowledge to actively identify market opportunities, which will be developed into new products and services.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable business development and marketing expertise, strong leadership experience, an understanding of strategic business planning and first class interpersonal and communication skills. Your high level of commercial acumen will be instrumental to this position.
