A prominent Oxford based educational publisher is looking to appoint two Publishers to develop their highly successful IT and Construction lists. These are challenging and rewarding opportunities to drive forward innovation and development of these lists.

The Publisher will create, maintain and implement a clear strategy for the lists and commission high quality print and electronic resources. They will have the responsibility to recruit and manage author teams and build a strong knowledge and understanding of the relevant markets.

The ideal candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have a good understanding of book publishing processes, preferably within an educational publishing context, and have demonstrable commissioning experience. Applicants will be commercially aware, possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to build effective relationships. A solid knowledge and understanding of education and school and/or FE markets would be desirable.
