A leading professional organisation, providing educational support to Local Authorities and schools is looking to appoint a Print Designer on a contract initially until the end of March 2009.

Working with the Product Design Manager, the Print Designer will be responsible for the design and layout of products within a set of guidelines. They are responsible for the design work being completed within an agreed deadline and for meeting required quality standards.

Candidates will need to have solid experience of working in print design, preferably in an education context or publishing environment, and be familiar with proofreading marks and publishing terminology. Candidates will also need excellent IT skills in all relevant software applications for print design, and have strong interpersonal skills, be experienced in working in high pressure environments and have strong attention to detail.
