The job: A leading provider of data services to the UK and International Library market sectors with a unique and highly valued range of products and services looking for a Library Sales & Account Executive to join a small, dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Data Sales this is a key role with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy involving a mix of internal and external sales / account management activities with the UK Library market including public, school and commercial libraries, academic institutions, library suppliers and library system suppliers. The successful candidate will have direct responsibility for new sales and account management for library customers in the South of the UK and will be involved in selling a full range of products and services, providing product training and representing the company at conferences and exhibitions. The role will involve significant UK travel mainly within the South East.
 
The person: The ideal candidate will have commercial experience within the library industry or direct library experience supported by a track record of delivering high levels of service to customers and achieving revenue targets. Excellent telephone and written communication skills and ability to deal with people at all levels within an organisation are essential. Excellent online and PC skills including MS office are also required and experience or knowledge of Bibliographic data, MARC data or Sales analysis data preferred.

Salary: A salary of up to £28k is offered
