Our client is a highly reputable, established and global educational publishing company and they are looking for a talented Publisher/Senior Publisher to work on their Humanities education products for the UK secondary school market.

As Publisher/Senior Publisher you will be responsible for managing and developing a profitable Humanities list. Key responsibilities will include completing market and competitor analysis to identify new publishing opportunities, composing proposals, planning research strategies for the team, overseeing projects on both the front and back list as well as liaising with Editors, Senior Development Editors and authors to ensure excellent quality levels are maintained.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of developing and commissioning materials for schools and excellent negotiation, networking and people management skills. Teaching experience would also be desirable. You will have a customer focused commissioning approach with the ability to analyse and present market needs with appropriate publishing solutions to both internal and external audiences.
