A registered charity, providing financial education to financial services\' professionals both nationally and internationally, is recruiting a Commissioning Editor to work at their Canterbury offices.

The Commissioning Editor will be responsible for preparing a commissioning budget for allocated titles and will locate, commission and develop suitable authors to write learning content for modules. Candidates need to have an understanding of electronic developments within publishing and a broad awareness of developments and issues within the financial services.

The ideal candidate should have excellent project management skills, taking on and maintaining multiple projects at varying stages of development. They will have experience of developing content for publications in print and electronic form and be able to understand the procedure and practice of recruiting authors for different tasks. Practical experience of commissioning or developing learning content would be an advantage as would a finance or business-related qualification.
