This is an exciting opportunity to join this international publishing house in the Science Journals Division. Currently seeking a Managing Editor to manage and develop a group of international research journals. The Managing Editor will be responsible for the management and development of a range of journals, an exciting and challenging role which involve regular contact and communication with a group of high profile, international Editors and society publishing partners.  Relationship management and development;  Budget setting and supervision;  Improving citation trends;  Seeking opportunities for organic content growth;  Coördinating Marketing, Production and other departments;   society business meetings, and at international conferences and mentor to a Publishing Editor. Ideally, the successful candidate will have previous journals publishing management experience. The role demands energy and creative flair, sound commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with, and a passion for, the sciences, and an awareness of scientists’ needs in their publishing activities will be a distinct advantage.
