Managing publishing schedules Liaising with advertising sales people to control ad bookings Chasing advertising material from clients Co-ordinating production of advertising material Liaising with editors, designers and proof-readers to ensure timely production Co-ordinating and collating editors and authors’ amendments Liaising with contract clients Production of final proofs and print-ready / web-ready PDFs Managing print orders with printers and management of in-house projects such as newsletters, calendars, rate cards and other projects as appropriate . Essential skills include a good understanding of the publishing and printing process, sound understanding of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator and other design applications on Apple Mac,s and  experience of PDF and digital workflows .
