Our client is a prestigious publisher of high-end academic and professional reference material. Based in west London, they are looking to recruit a confident publishing Sales Manager with exceptional sales and relationship building skills to help expand the external client base and grow the sales of a varied list of publications and e-learning solutions.

You will have responsibility for a broad range of territories including Africa and the Caribbean. Your customer base will be the book-trade, the education sector and the corporate sector and responsibilities will include developing new business opportunities and building relationships with both new and existing clients, reporting on sales/ analysing data, contributing to product development through market feedback reports and attending conferences and other relevant events.

As well as overseas travel the role will include regular travel within the UK, so candidates must hold a full, clean UK driving licence.

The successful candidate must have previous international and UK sales experience, specifically within the publishing sector. You must be able to quantify your success in revenue terms, and this should be evident on your application. You will be self-motivated, target oriented and should display excellent negotiation and influencing skills in addition to a confident and professional demeanour.
