Clarke's final odyssey at HC
15.05.08 Graeme Neill
HarperCollins has snapped up the rights for the late science fiction author Arthur C Clarke's final book, The Last Theorum. Chris Smith, editorial director for HarperFiction, bought UK and Commonwealth rights from Georgia Glover at David Higham.
The book had originally been scheduled for publication by Gollancz, but the rights recently became available. The book will be published later this year in hardback and as a deluxe collectors' edition. HC also plans to relaunch its Clarke backlist.
