PFD poised for more announcements
08.11.07 Joel Rickett
Embattled literary agency PFD is poised to announce the recruitment of two more staff and a "big" company acquisition. A spokesperson also said that "three or four" of the departing agents may have been convinced to stay by new c.e.o. Caroline Michel.
Last week, PFD announced it had bought in two publishers to fill roles: Suzy Jenvey, currently of Quercus, will head up the children's book team, while Marcella Edwards, currently at Penguin Classics, will manage PFD's literary estates and backlist as well as building her own list.
