Social mobility from Murray
29.11.07 John Ryan
Rowan Yapp at John Murray has paid a five-figure sum for Observer assistant editor Robert Yates' Extreme Nation, an examination of social mobility in post-Blair Britain. The deal for British Commonwealth rights was struck with agent Jonny Geller at Curtis Brown.
Yates will detail the way in which London has become a leading financial centre, while observing how social mobility has become less common as a consequence. Extreme Nation is due in October next year.
