Bestselling German Holocaust memoir to Profile
Profile has signed up a childhood Holocaust memoir that has been a bestseller in Germany. M.d. Andrew Franklin acquired world English rights in Thomas Buergenthal's A Lucky Child from Eva Koralnik at Swiss agency Liepman.
Buergenthal, currently a judge at the International Human Rights Court in The Hague, was imprisoned as a child in Nazi concentration camps. Profile will publish in spring 2009.
