Brixton café cookbook to HC
08.02.08 Graeme Neill
Fourth Estate has acquired the rights to a new cookbook it hopes will bring “a kind of Lily Allen charm” to the kitchen. Spooning with Rosie: Food, Friendship and Kitchen Loving by Rosie Lovell will be published in 2009. It was acquired by Louise Haines, head of non-fiction, from Jenny McVeigh at Janklow & Nesbit for an undisclosed sum.
Lovell runs Rosie’s Deli Café in Brixton, south London. A spokesperson for the publisher said: “She has put together a collection of her favourite food loves and times, inspired by the people in her life to make good, simple food for perfect occasions.”
