Ways To Live Forever (Scholastic) by Sally Nicholls won the Waterstone's Children's Book Prize.
Nicholls, who saw off competition from eight other authors, received the award on Wednesday (13th February). Her win marks Scholastic's second victory in a row: last year's winner was Darkside by Tom Becker, also Scholastic.
Last year's winner has sold over 12,000 copies to date through Nielsen BookScan, with sales almost doubling to around 1,000 copies in the week following the announcement.
