Nigella returns for Christmas
05.03.08 Anna Richardson
Nigella Lawson could return to the bestseller charts this autumn, as Chatto has signed a new book to be published in October. Nigella Christmas, priced £25, comprises "reliable, easy-to-follow" recipes and advice about planning and cooking ahead. The book follows the success of Nigella Express, her TV series and book which dominated the bestsellers lists last autumn, and her three-part mini series for the BBC, "Nigella's Christmas Kitchen" last year.
It will be illustrated with 150 full-colour photographs, include method photos and double-page spreads, and feature everything from Christmas cakes and puddings, to presents and recipes for feeding friends and family.
Random House chief executive Gail Rebuck said: "Nigella has an unerring instinct for knowing precisely what her readers want. Following her outstanding success last autumn with Nigella Express, this is another classic in the making. We look forward to another perfect Christmas with Nigella at Random House."
Nigella Christmas is Lawson’s seventh book.
