O'Brien bookseller of the year crowned

Mary Healy, head book buyer of wholesaler Argosy Libraries, Dublin, is this year’s winner of the O’Brien Press Bookseller of the Year award. It was announced at last weekend’s BA Conference in Galway. The yearly award is presented in recognition of outstanding achievement in bookselling.
Ivan O’Brien, m.d. of O’Brien Press, said in his citation that Healy was “an outstanding buyer with a good eye for a bestseller and constantly looks for innovative ways to sell more books”.
