Harper to publish in Hindi
HarperCollins is ready to take on the Hindi literary world through its imprint HarperHindi, reports Zee News. The imprint is to be launched at Willow Chinar, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road on 15th May.
The first release under this imprint is The Chronicles of Narnia, a series of seven titles for children written by C S Lewis. The series, having sold over 100 million copies in 41 languages, is now being translated into Hindi.
Apart from translating English language classics, HarperCollins would also be publishing works of main stream Hindi language authors.
