Frank stand-up at Century
10.06.08 Anna Richardson
Century is publishing a follow-up to comedian and TV personality Frank Skinner’s autobiography this autumn.
Frank Skinner On the Road is due on 2nd October and describes his experience of going back on the road to do stand-up after many years on TV programmes such as BBC2’s “Fantasy Football League” and “Baddiel and Skinner Unplanned” on ITV1.
Skinner began a live tour in 2007, a decade after his previous major live gig. The tour was extended from 49 dates to 69 to meet ticket demand. Skinner also returned to his roots by performing at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in the 175-person venue of his 1991 Perrier Award winning show.
Skinner is committed to supporting the book with an extensive publicity campaign, festival appearances and bookshop signings, according to the publisher.
The paperback will be published by Arrow on 6th August 2009.
