01.07.08 Alison Flood
Hodder has acquired the second memoir by Marley & Me author John Grogan. The deal for British and Commonwealth rights in Grogan's The Longest Trip Home, a prequel to Marley, was struck by Lisa Highton with Mary Pachnos of Aitken Alexander acting for Laurie Abkemeier, in association with DeFiore and Company. She will publish in January 2009.
The Longest Trip Home will be released in October in the US by William Morrow, an imprint of HarperCollins.
