Karmel launches magazine
Dennis Publishing is to release the first ever magazine by children’s cookbook author Annabel Karmel.
The Winter and Christmas Cookbook (r.r.p. £7.99) is a 160-page "bookazine" containing 80 recipes, 30 of them specially created by Karmel, with relevant seasonal themes including Back to School, Halloween, Bonfire Night, World Animal Day and Christmas.
Karmel is the bestselling author of titles such as the New Complete Baby and Toddler Meal Planner. The venture has been described as “enabling Annabel to reach a new audience who perhaps previously have been scared off by books”.
The Winter and Christmas Cookbook will go on sale on 2nd October until the spring, when a new seasonal version will be launched. Marks & Spencer, Asda, Sainsbury's, Boots, Co-op and W H Smith are confirmed to carry the magazine.
