Waterstone's e-books open for business

Waterstone's e-book store opened for business today (4th September), with around 7,000 titles available from its website as e-books, including titles from the five largest trade publishers in the UK.
Waterstone's expects to have 20,000 titles available by the end of this year, with new e-book titles being added to the website as they are being produced by publishers.
The titles are on average discounted by 20%. Among the e-books highlighted on the home page are Karin Slaughter's Fractured (discounted by 20% priced £14.39), Jordan's Pushed to the Limit (20% off rrp at £15.19) and PJ Tracey's Dead Run (selling at £5.59 after £1.40 discount).

well at last we have caught up to being an e book got mine last week and its wonderful , easy to work after you understood gobbly gook in the instructions , it does music (not sure how yet ) and photos ( have downloaded my last holiday on it , have got the disc which has 100 books on it some I ll never ead but some of course I ve alwasy wanted to but never bought them .Thank you Sony for at least doing things that are useful now I carry mine every where just in case I have a few spare moments to catch up on a couple of pages ....22 Sep 08 10:12
