Sunday Times literary editor moves up
Susannah Herbert, the Sunday Times literary editor, is to edit the paper's News Review section, reports the Guardian. Herbert - who has been at the Sunday Times for just two years - takes over the job from Eleanor Mills who leaves News Review to become editor of the Saturday edition of The Times.
Herbert replaced Caroline Gascoigne, who left the Sunday Times literary section to work at Random House publishers, running its Hutchinson imprint. The Sunday Times has not yet hired a new literary editor, though Herbert's deputy, Andrew Holgate, is thought to be a strong contender for the job.
