Beckham does kids books
David Beckham is to launch a series of children's books with plots set in his football academies. The stories, aimed at seven year olds, will be about what a group of young footballers get up to on the pitch and after training, reports the Daily Telegraph.
The books will also have tips, a pull-out tactics board and statistics on the game. The first book in the series, which has not yet been given a title, is due to be released in June 2009 but publishers say the books will not be written by Beckham.
