DK and Waterstone's in deal with Sunday Times
Waterstone's and DK are teaming up with the Sunday Times Travel magazine to offer exclusive discounts. Subscribers to the magazine will get a loyalty card which they can use with 10 different brands, including the two book brands.
The card will enable users to pick up on offers on the Waterstone's website, including a discount of £5 off a £30 spend. Dorling Kindersley will also be offering 20% off purchases online, which will increase to 25% when people register for the publisher's online newsletter.
In return, both companies will receive brand exposure in the Sunday Times, both online and in print.
Clare West, head of DK marketing, said: "DK were approached by The Sunday Times due to our strong demographic match with their reader and we felt it was a great opportunity to raise awareness of the DK brand by putting it in front of such a large and fitting audience."
